Our Story
For Dr. Mansi Gulati, fashion was always a part of life. Coming from a family associated with the clothing business, she grew up around fabrics, silhouettes and colors. Even while building her career as a doctor, her love for handblock prints, effortless silhouettes and authentic handmade techniques always stayed close to her heart.
For Pallavi (@pi.sings), creativity came through music. Growing up around the clothing business as well, she developed a deep appreciation for fabrics and craftsmanship. During her music tours across Jaipur and Udaipur, she found herself deeply inspired by Rajasthan’s vibrant colors, artisan markets and traditional crafts.
As she explored the world of indigo, Bagru, handblock, embroidery and Jahota craftsmanship, she felt emotionally connected to the beauty behind every handmade piece. What started as conversations between two friends slowly became a shared dream.
A journey back to our roots.
A dream to celebrate Indian craftsmanship in a modern yet timeless way.
And that’s how ikkuddi came to life.
